I’ve been with Woolworths for five years. I started out as a CSR at the Customer Hub for Woolworths Supermarkets. Within four months, I became a Privacy Advocate, assisting Group Privacy and our legal team with customer complaints and customer personal information access requests.

After two years of working as a Privacy Advocate, I was promoted to Compliance Analyst, a position that I’ve now held for three years.

As the Customer Hub’s Compliance Analyst, I monitor and report on existing and emerging risks at the Customer Hub. This includes, among other things, PCI compliance, food safety complaint monitoring, internal fraud, and documenting existing and emerging risks. Good governance is an ongoing process, and the best part about the job is that I get to work across all departments and their respective industry sectors.

I’m an engineering leader in Customer Success. I’m really passionate about chatbots, Generative AI, cloud and next gen technologies! I’m passionate about building high performing engineering teams, and I’ve worked in all engineering domains, including AI engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Integration engineering, QA automation, data analytics, and platform engineering, to name a few.

My journey with Woolworths started in 2019, in the personal shopper space. I dedicated 3 years to this role before moving into the social media desk as a CSR at the customer hub. I was fortunate to move into a team senior role for social shortly after. Since July 2024 I’ve been working as a bot optimisation specialist, looking after Olive Australia, Olive New Zealand and Mandy New Zealand. While I didn't initially come from a technical background, my determination, curiosity, and passion for learning have been key drivers in helping me acquire the necessary technical skills. I embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow, and through persistence, I've been able to effectively learn and apply the relevant technologies.
